Levitation Series – Designed for Automation
Ariumlab’s Levitation Series magnet plates are specifically engineered for robotic applications and automated workflows. The top plate levitates on a magnetic cushion, allowing pipette tips to gently reach the bottom of the well without bending or breaking. This protects your pipette tips and tubes, prevents reagent loss, and significantly enhances pipetting accuracy.
The Levitation 96PLT is compatible with a wide variety of microplate formats, including PCR plates, deep-well plates, U- and V-bottom plates, as well as most skirted, semi-skirted, and non-skirted 96-well PCR plates. Functionally comparable to Beckman Coulter’s Agencourt SPRIPlate 96R and Alpaqua’s 96S Super Magnet, it supports seamless integration into automated workflows. Plates that work particularly well with the Levitation 96PLT include Riplate 96, Corning Costar 3795, ABgene AB-2800 SuperPlate, ABgene AB-1127, and ABgene AB-0661.
A cost-effective alternative to Beckman® PN: A32782 & PN001322—offering up to 50% savings—this magnet plate matches the original in dimensions and magnet type. Constructed from solid aluminum alloy with a hard-coat anodized finish, it ensures long-term durability and reliable performance. Fully compatible with all types of magnetic beads.
For semi-skirted, and non-skirted well plates please use Levitation S-96PLT Magnet Plate for optimum results. The difference between 96PLT Magnet Plate and S-96PLT Magnet Plate is only the adapter. Adapter helps semi-skirted, and non-skirted well plates securely in place during aspiration and suspension.
